What is Past Reality Integration (PRI)?<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

PRI assumes that emotions and behavioral patterns that bother us in our daily lives are caused by an old trauma that lies beneath. A trauma that originated somewhere in the first years of our lives, of which we are usually not aware. <\/p>\n

Whether it concerns depression, burn-out, anxiety or panic attacks, addiction, eating problems, or relationship problems, in almost all cases the cause of your problem lies early in your life, and your complaints are always covering up the feeling of that old pain. If you trace that old pain, you will find the key to solving the symptoms in the present. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

How does PRI work? <\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

You learn to observe yourself in which situations the emotions (defenses) activate that bother you, and what is touched. Based on the PRI model, which makes it very clear how your brain works, you gain more self-insight. <\/p>\n

Then you start working with your behavior. By consciously stopping your behavior, you gain access to deeper, unconsciously suppressed feelings. You discover that they do not belong to your life now, but to the child you were. <\/p>\n

Finally, you learn to consciously experience the world without the clouding of your defenses. You create new connections in your brain, as it were. You come back into contact with what you want to do from there, in connection with yourself and your environment, and dare to act accordingly. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The goal of PRI<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n\n

The goal of PRI is not to constantly feel that old pain in the hope of eliminating it in this way. That is not possible either. But the good news is: it doesn't have to! <\/p>\n

The goal of PRI is to be able to live more and more without complaints, so without defense. Even if your defense behavior is still activated, you will recognize and dismantle it more and more quickly, so that you can consciously stop its destructive effect. And you can start experiencing the present for what it really is; usually surprisingly unburdened. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
